We all know that when the leaves start falling the county fairs start popping up; it happens simultaneously.  If you had a great time at the Rowan County fair, why not try out a fair on a larger scale?  The Dixie Classic Fair has come to Winston-Salem October 3 and it will be here until the 12th!

At a larger fair, there are more vendors and rides which means more fun!  There are several different sections at the Dixie Classic Fair. One of these sections is Yesterday Village, where you can buy hand worked metal, glass, pastries, pottery, and much more. Another section has all of the carnival rides which includes two Ferris Wheels, several fun houses, two sets of swings, a Starship 2000, and many other rides as well.

If you have that certain fair food that you just love, you can be sure to find it at the Dixie Classic Fair, which has over one hundred food concession stands!  If you are an artist there is a competition section where you can enter in your art for money or just to get your name out there because it will be on display for the whole duration of the fair. On special days 107.5 KZL and the city of Winston-Salem have partnered up to bring unlimited ride passes for $30. The final special day for this year’s fair is the 9th. This year, there is also a short three question quiz put together by the city of Winston-Salem that you can take to get $5 off of your unlimited ride pass.  The Dixie Classic Fair promises to bring lots of fun to all who go.
