Valentine’s Day is upon us once more. Whether at campus with your sweetheart, or visiting your other half at home, there are plenty of things that are available for couples to do on the 14th, especially since it falls on a Saturday. However, many couples may have difficulty choosing exactly what to do. We don’t want for you and your boyfriend/girlfriend argue on the day of love, so here are some possible options for lovebirds this weekend:

1. Go to a Movie: The classic way to spend Valentine’s Day still lingers today as a great way to spend a nice date. Sharing popcorn, laughing, and being close makes the movies well worth it. But, make sure that the movie selection agrees with both of you. Girls may not go for war movies, whereas guys may hesitate viewing a romance adapted from a novel. Find a movie that fits, and have fun!

2. Go out to dinner: What better way to spend February 14th than eating out with your loved one? Go to a place nice and fancy, and enjoy the meal without having to do the dishes! It will give both of you and opportunity to sit and talk while enjoying each other’s company.

3. Take a Hike: No, literally, take a hike, or do something adventurous. Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday, the weekend is yours for taking. Do something you both enjoy doing. Or, try something new! From hiking in the Uwharries, to walking along the Outer Banks, to taking in breathtaking scenery, do something that will be memorable for the both of you.

So whatever you choose to do, remember to be safe, have fun, and enjoy an awesome Valentines Day!
