On Friday, March 18th, CSI, SR, SGA, Wigwam Productions, and the Wellness Center hosted an unforgettable Spa night. Students were able to relax, enjoy, and spend some time doing things such as creating personalized mugs, making personalized hand towels, making your own lip balm, and much more. Not to mention they offered incredible stations such as massage chairs, full body aqua massages, an oxygen bar, and FREE (yes I said FREE) haircuts, eyebrow waxing. My personal favorite – actual humans giving you massages – otherwise known more professionally as free masseuses. Another cool station that they had available was the caricature station, another fellow Catawba Pioneer writer Deep Dave and I both got an interesting drawing made for us. This was a really good opportunity to relax with friends, and an even better opportunity to meet new people. It’s always great to go to events like these, because it is a great way to “come out of your shell”, and to socialize with people outside of your circle.
Coming to a small school like Catawba, it’s good to meet new people. The next time that there is an event like spa night, I strongly encourage you to attend. Who knows, you might get a better caricature than mine and Deep’s.
