Ripley’s has three locations for their aquariums; they are Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Toronto, Canada. Ripley’s owns attractions internationally in addition to their many domestic attraction locations. Some of their most popular attractions other than their aquariums are Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and the Guinness World Records Museums. At their Tennessee Aquarium, Ripley’s offers many things to do for people of all ages. An interesting fact about Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg is that the aquarium has more fish living inside it than the town has residents. The aquarium has also been ranked as the fifth best aquarium in the world by users of the website tripadvisor. Ripley’s Aquarium offers several camps for children that focus on different aspects of the aquarium. Some of these camps are called SSI: SHARK SCENE INVESTIGATOR, Kids Night Out, Jr. Aquarist Camp, and Ripley’s Bubble-Ologist. They have many programs that let you stay the night with the sharks, to see if they actually sleep at night, and with the penguins. There is a live camera of the penguins that you can access through their website. Ripley’s Aquarium in Tennessee also allows visitors to touch Jelly Fish, Stingrays, and help penguins paint a picture with their feet!
