Meet Philip George, a senior football player at Catawba College. George was born in Washington, D.C but raised in Columbia, SC. He has been playing football since the age of eight and still loves it to this day. Philip is otherwise known as Philly G by his teammates and others on campus. Philly G plays free safety for Catawba College’s football team. He specifically transferred to Catawba to play football.

Although George’s main focus at Catawba is football, he is also involved in intramural dodge ball. Philip is majoring in communications at Catawba and hopes to play football on a professional level or coach after graduating. I enjoyed getting to know Philly G and I hope you do as well!
