Mrs. Jill Paget Lowe graduated from Catawba in 1999. She majored in Spanish and headed out to Los Angeles after college to pursue a masters in Spanish at California State Long Beach. However, she thought about what her true passion really was and it happened to be fashion!

She then decided to pursue her dreams and continued her studies at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FDIM). She is currently the owner and founder of The Posh Result, a fashion boutique public relations firm. Jill’s business specializes in celebrity, editorial placement, and online/blog placement as well as social media. This means if someone has a fashion product (clothing line, jewelry line, etc) her coworkers and her get it on celebrities, placed in magazines, and get bloggers to write about it.

“We work with celebrities and magazine editors to promote your product,” said Lowe. I asked Jill what she misses most about Catawba. Her response was “the forming friendships, dorm life, camaraderie, playing soccer, being in great shape, eating whatever I wanted, becoming independent, being young, learning, discovering myself, no stress of real life issues yet, and living in the moment.”

Jill married another Catawba alumni, Mr. Wade Lowe, who played on the Men’s soccer team. They have two children Frankie and Ozzie. It was wonderful to catch up with this Catawba family!
