The Dixie Classic Fair had another wonderful year this year helping all of the people that came to it enjoy that certain, wonderful feeling that one can only experience at this time of year with the multitude of festivals going on.  To change it up a bit, and because I wanted to see the vendors and all of their interesting wares, I went to the fair during the daytime this year.  During my searches through the vendor building at the Dixie Classic Fair I came across everything from maple syrup flavored cotton candy, to jewelry dealers, and to hot tub and swimming pool dealers.  There were several buildings where the fair officials placed the different categories of items to be judged. There were wonderful quilts, hand-sewn clothing, baked goods, paintings, drawings, crafts, various fruits and vegetables, and livestock.  Within the fairgrounds is a little place called Yesterday Village where there are several small huts containing an antique items judging, a baked goods store, a pottery store, a leather goods store, a tractor show, and blacksmiths who craft various items in front of the crowd.  There is also a wood carver that does performances several times during the days of the fair.  I was fortunate enough to be able to watch him turn a log into a weasel, earlier in the day the wood carver crafted a log into wolf, and before that, he turned a log into a fox sitting inside of a log.
