Have you guys eaten in the café recently? There are many new items hitting the shelves at the Catawba College cafeteria this fall! My personal favorite is the new flavored water. The exciting new flavors consist of: strawberry kiwi, lemon-lime, and cranberry-grape. If you get bored of plain tasting water easily, be daring and throw some flavor in there, I’m sure you will not regret it!

Are any of you not a fan of gluten in your food? Guess what? Now there is a mini refrigerator near the bagels and cereals section filled with gluten-free surprises. They have muffins, brownies, and toast. In addition, Chartwells has started fried chicken Fridays and grilled chicken Thursdays. So head to the café on these days if you are a fan of all types of chicken!

There are also two new futuristic red machines in the café that have captured many students’ attention. Can you guys guess what I’m talking about? Yes, they are the new Coca-Cola soda machines. You can practically pick any flavors you can imagine. Personally, I did not even know some of these flavors, like Vanilla Fanta, existed. The machines are made with touch screens and are just so sleek and appealing to the human eye.
